Our church, Gloryland Baptist, in Birmingham, Alabama has a ministry called Central American Missions. This ministry in Honduras is through missionaries Ronnie and Joanne Doss who work very closely with Bro. Graham Hutson from our church. Bro. Doss runs an orphanage that has about 70 children. He also has a Bible Institute that educates national pastors for the ministry. One of the ways that we are able to help is to ship 40 foot containers several times a year with clothes, shoes, and supplies for the orphan home, workers, and national pastors who depend on Bro. Doss. The purpose of this website is to provide updates on ship dates for the container and to provide you with information about the needs of this ministry if you would like to donate items or contribute to this worthy cause. We hope you will prayerfully consider helping us as we accomplish this task.

Thanking God for a Safe Trip to Honduras
Our church along with Straight Paths Baptist Church was able to spend the week last week in Honduras at the orphanage. While we were there, we were able to paint the exterior of most of the buildings. We also helped with the cleaning and with organizing the items from the recent container. We always go with the goal of being a blessing but are always blessed beyond measure in return. We came home praising God for a safe and productive trip all for the glory of God.

Next Ship Date-June 11th
We will be shipping the next container on June 11th. Our container will consist of mainly doors and windows. We have also had many people donate used clothing, toys, and household items for this shipment. In January, a lady who owns a local bridal shop donated around 45 wedding dresses she used as samples in her shop. We were able to put them in a consignment shop and have made around $1000 from the proceeds so far. This has enabled us to buy new undergarments and a great deal of new clothing and shoes for the orphanage. A month ago, the warehouse seemed empty, but God has used his people to fill it up just in time for Bro. Doss to give us the "go" to ship the container. Thank you for your continued prayers and support to this ministry!
