Next Ship Date-June 11th

We will be shipping the next container on June 11th.  Our container will consist of mainly doors and windows.  We have also had many people donate used clothing, toys, and household items for this shipment.  In January, a lady who owns a local bridal shop donated around 45 wedding dresses she used as samples in her shop.  We were able to put them in a consignment shop and have made around $1000 from the proceeds so far.  This has enabled us to buy new undergarments and a great deal of new clothing and shoes for the orphanage.  A month ago, the warehouse seemed empty, but God has used his people to fill it up just in time for Bro. Doss to give us the "go" to ship the container. Thank you for your continued prayers and support to this ministry!

The Container Arrived!

Thank you for your prayers! The container arrived at the orphanage this past Friday! Bro. Doss said it was packed from top to bottom which means they did not unpack it as they usually do.  This is an answer to prayer.  After finally clearing up the paperwork issues, the container was released. However, as it was on its way to the orphanage, the truck drivers decided to go on strike.  The container sat on the road for days.  Praise the Lord it finally made it in time for Christmas! Now it is time to begin preparing for the spring container.  Please continue to pray that Bro. Doss will be able to get the paperwork to receive the containers tax free.  Also, we are looking into the possibility of shipping the containers as a cheaper price.  Pray this all works out for the benefit of this ministry.

The Container Has Been Shipped!

Praise the Lord! Saturday we were able to load the container.  We had about 20 people who came out to help load.  Thank you to every one who came! The shipment includes Christmas gifts for all the children at the orphanage, the workers, and the pastor's families.  It also includes the personal items of two missionary families, the Birkholz family and the Jarvis family, who are going to Honduras to help Bro. Doss at the orphanage. 

A special thank you to each one of you have contributed monetarily and/or with your prayers.  God has used so many people to help bring this shipment to pass.  The container is scheduled to reach port in Honduras on November 10th.  Please continue to pray that the shipment will pass through customs without excessive fees and that the container will arrive at the orphanage in time for Christmas!

The Container Will Ship October 31st!

We were unable to ship on October 10th.  We will be shipping the container on October 31st Lord willing.   Thank you for your prayers.  Please continue to pray that the container arrives in time for Christmas!

Ship date postponed to October 10th

The ship date for the container has been postponed to October 10th due to customs issues.  Please pray that the Lord will work all the details out in His timing.  Thank you for your prayers.

Work Day-This Saturday, September 19th

We will meet Saturday to finalize the details for the shipment of the container.  We need to finish purchasing and boxing all the Christmas gifts as well as place labels on all the boxes.  Each box we ship must have two printed labels with the contents typed out on the labels.  As you can imagine, this can be a tedious task.  Our warehouse is as full as I ever remember it being in times past.  We will probably have to hold some items to ship next time.  Again, the Lord has provided in a way that has been more than we could have asked or thought! I have included a picture below of the bags we had made for the pastor's wives and the ladies who work at the orphanage.  If you have donated money to help with this cause, this is just one example of what your money has helped buy.  May the Lord bless you for your generosity!
