Work Day-This Saturday, September 19th

We will meet Saturday to finalize the details for the shipment of the container.  We need to finish purchasing and boxing all the Christmas gifts as well as place labels on all the boxes.  Each box we ship must have two printed labels with the contents typed out on the labels.  As you can imagine, this can be a tedious task.  Our warehouse is as full as I ever remember it being in times past.  We will probably have to hold some items to ship next time.  Again, the Lord has provided in a way that has been more than we could have asked or thought! I have included a picture below of the bags we had made for the pastor's wives and the ladies who work at the orphanage.  If you have donated money to help with this cause, this is just one example of what your money has helped buy.  May the Lord bless you for your generosity!

Ship date for the Christmas Container-September 26th!

We have officially scheduled the container to ship September 26th! Thank you to those of you who have collected items and donated money to help with the shipment.

Update on Christmas Container!!!!

If you are a church or an individual wondering how you can help, we are short on hygiene items (such as shampoo, soap, conditioner, razors, shaving cream, etc.) and school supplies (such as paper, pencils, pens, construction paper, crayons, markers, etc.).  However, we can never receive too much of one thing.  If you have collected or have used items you can donate that are mentioned on the list above, please call us to set up a time for us to meet you at the church for drop off or to come pick up your items.  May the Lord bless you for your time and consideration of this ministry!!!

HONDURAS WORKDAY!!!! THIS SATURDAY, AUGUST 22nd!

We will have a workday this Saturday to sort clothing donated by KidsMarket! We were short on children's clothing and God has provided around 500 pieces of like new children's clothing for the container! Praise the Lord!

Working on the Container!

Walmart has tennis shoes on sale for $3!

Walmart has these tennis shoes on sale for $3! In addition to purchasing the items for the Christmas gifts, the orphanage also is in constant need of other items such as shoes, first aid items, large cookware, hygiene items, etc.  A complete list of needed items is above.  Please be on the lookout for these items as you are out and about shopping!  If you are able, please help us collect as many pairs of these shoes as possible!

We have postponed our ship date to September!!!!

We are postponing our next ship date to September in order to include all Christmas items for the orphanage.  We plan on sending new items, such as toys, shoes, school supplies, and clothing, as Christmas gifts for the children.  We also need to collect new household items, such as kitchenware and small decorative items, to give as gifts to the pastors families.  We usually make individual boxes for each child and an individual box for each national pastor and their families.  However, because of the recent change of plan to send all Christmas items on this shipment, we will send the new items in bulk to the orphanage and let the workers prepare the individual gifts after the shipment is delivered.  I hope this explanation makes sense!  If you would like to donate any items or if you have any questions, please contact us!
