Gift Details

I have posted pictures of a gift from each age group so you could get an idea of exactly what we provide for each child.  We were able to raise $25 per child.  As you can see, many of the gifts are worth more than $25.  This is due to some of the toys being donated.  Also, we begin shopping early in the year.  In that way, we can find toys on sale and on clearance.  Each photo is labeled with the age group the gift is intended for.

The Christmas shipment is on its way but prayers are needed!

We were able to ship on December 2nd! Again, we are overwhelmed by the Lord's provisions.  Thank you to all who had a part in this shipment.  Because there is political unrest in Honduras at this time, Bro. Doss needs your prayers.  Please pray that he will be able to get the container out despite the events that are happening in Honduras at this time.  We know the Lord knows about all the obstacles.  We are praying His will in this matter. 

Shipping Update and Praise Report!

We will be loading the container Saturday at 8am!  We were able to raise a total of $3,315.   ALL 65 children were sponsored $25!!!!!!!!!  ALL 13 single workers were sponsored $25!!!    8 of the 28 families were sponsored $150!!!!  Thank you to everyone who made this possible!! We are so thankful to the Lord for providing again! We were also able to purchase many of the needed items for the workers and children with special needs.  I will post pictures of the gifts soon so you can see exactly what we send to the children, workers, and families!!!!

We now have 40 kids sponsored leaving 25 more children needing a sponsor ($25 each/$550 total needed).

We now have 4 families sponsored and need 24 more ($150 for each family/$3600 total needed).

We still have 8 unmarried workers who need to be sponsored ($25 each/$225 total needed).

Gloryland Christian Academy worked on packing items for the container as part of their Christian service day! They were able to pack over 50 boxes!

Postponed Ship Date-End of November

We have tentatively postponed the next ship date until the end of November!

We are very thankful for the 25 willing people who came out last Saturday to help us count and sort clothing, shoes, toys, and household items.  We sorted 3 pallets worth of items!  This ministry is a  church-wide effort.  We could not do this without the labor of so many and without donations from supporters!  Once again, we are reminded of God's provisions.  Bro. Doss expressed that they were in need of underwear and socks.  We probably sorted 7-8 large boxes of brand new undergarments.  Please continue to pray for us as we continue to prepare for the November shipment.

Next Ship Date-Beginning of November 2017

Our next container will ship to Honduras the beginning of November.  If you have items you would like to donate, please contact us to schedule a drop off date.  I am in the process of contacting Bro. Doss and the workers in Honduras to get a list of needs they may have! At the moment, I know a great need is shoes.  We have received a great deal of donations including clothing but we have not received many shoes!  Thank you for considering donating items for this shipment.

The Container Shipped Saturday, June 24th!

We were able to ship the container on Saturday! Please pray it makes it to Bro. Doss safely.  We were able to ship many things that they were in need of.  Some of the items included sheet sets, twin mattresses, cabinets for the school, filing cabinets, Spanish books, and a desk.  Thank you to everyone who sacrificed to contribute to the success of this shipment.  Glory to God for all he has done!
