Our church, Gloryland Baptist, in Birmingham, Alabama has a ministry called Central American Missions. This ministry in Honduras is through missionaries Ronnie and Joanne Doss who work very closely with Bro. Graham Hutson from our church. Bro. Doss runs an orphanage that has about 70 children. He also has a Bible Institute that educates national pastors for the ministry. One of the ways that we are able to help is to ship 40 foot containers several times a year with clothes, shoes, and supplies for the orphan home, workers, and national pastors who depend on Bro. Doss. The purpose of this website is to provide updates on ship dates for the container and to provide you with information about the needs of this ministry if you would like to donate items or contribute to this worthy cause. We hope you will prayerfully consider helping us as we accomplish this task.

Thank you to Nick and Jay from our church for taking the time to make these toddler beds! The workers at the orphanage expressed a need for small toddler sized bunk beds!  However, the cost to buy these from the store was very costly.  Nick and Jay were able to make these for a fraction of the cost.  We shipped three with the mattresses and sheet sets! This is just another way God provided yet again.

Saturday's Shipment-A Success!


With God's help, we successfully loaded and sent off another container.  Thank you again to everyone who donated their time and resources to this project.  We were able to provide each child and each pastor's family a Christmas box.  We were also able to ship many of the items needed specifically for the orphanage, such as, a swing for handicapped children, small kitchen appliances, and laundry tubs.  I am amazed but not surprised at the Lord's provisions!

6 Days Until Shipment!

We had a great turn out for the work day today! Over 30 people stayed after church to help sort, box, and label the remaining items! Only 6 days until shipment! The Lord has once again provided all the needs for the shipment.  We will use this week to finalize the details and then load everything up Saturday morning.  God always provides exceeding abundantly more than we could ever ask or think!

Thank you to Ms. Robin from The Bible Baptist Church of Deland, Florida for making these cute skirts for the girls! It is hard to find modest skirts to buy and send.  May God bless you for donating your time and talent!

Answered Prayer!

Thank you for praying with us as we are preparing to send the Christmas container.  The Lord has impressed it upon many people to give their time and resources to help make Christmas for the children a success! Thanks to the prayers and generosity of God's people, our warehouse is almost full!
